I'M BACKKKKK :D

Malaysia was cool and fun and WHEEEEEEE :D The trip was so short, I can give a day-by-day recount :D

17th December (Sunday)
Woke up so freaking early for dunno what, but I was on time :D Only like six of us were? Haha. Check in took like an hour cos we had so many bags, but we looked super pro, same tracksuit, same bag :D And all the roomies walked around for about half an hour before boarding, but cos we were so bored and we couldn't afford anything in the shops anyway, we just rode back and forth on the travellators :D

Plane ride was only like an hour, pretty sucky ): Got to the hotel/apartments but thanks to SOMEBODY we were left roomless for a few hours ): Crashed in Meishan/Annette/Cel/Min's room in the meantime and we helped them rearrange the furniture :D Haha we did exactly the same in ours, a bedroom with a superSUPER king sized bed, a family room, and an empty living room meant for when we did land training which we never used (: Anyhow the long wait meant that we got a BIGGER room butttttttttttt it was a corner room and right at the end of the frickin long corridor. Seriously, anyone who walked to our room would complain about it. Booo. Slept and went for training.

THE POOL WAS DISGUSTING. Little black bits floated around in front of my face, the water was so murky everyone's directions got messed up underwater cos you couldn't see more than two metres in front of you. Grrrr. Plus it was freezing. Like icy freezing. I realised I get tired more easily in cold pools even though you're not supposed to cos I use up so much energy warming up haha. And the platform was so narrow I was afraid I'd walk off it /: Haha. Anyhoooo there were divers there too! But they don't have a patch on our China gang alrightttttttt. Ohoh and screwed up my practice session. Yeah ):


18th December (Monday)
Woke up pretty early for training; we kinda expected to be there from like 0730 to 2000 or SOMETHING but CJL let us go back early, at like 2 :D Watched videos etc, not much happened lah. Walked to the hawker centre for dinner :D

19th December (Tuesday)
COMPETITION DAY! Haha ohmy all our rooms got switched cos the 12&Unders had to get ready earlier so Audrey went to CJL'S room and we were dreading having ______ come stay with us but we got CELESTE instead! :D Hohoho. We were slightly late I think, didn't really get to eat properly.

Oh well only solos on that day so everyone else came later and ohmygoodness performance time. I honestly think that might be the calmest I've ever been before a competition. Haha. Once I started walking it was just WHOOOOOOO. Nervousness all gone :D Haha I think there was one part where I couldn't be bothered to hold my breath so I was just thinking Aiyah, come up lah, who cares? Hurhur. Oh well :D And I remember being pretty happy-go-lucky after that bit cos I can never hold my breath then so I was thinking it's over it's over :D Hohoho. Joyce came and told me after that that my artistic and dunno what crap was very good and my smile was very charming and dunno what and that my technical and whatever needs working on. Boooo. Okay haha. Hmmm Aunty Lena told me pretty much the same thing&that the other judges talked about it and dunno what lah. Huh. Cel, Michelle&Keziah just totally EXPLODED in the water, especially M&K :D And Keziah got a 7.4! :D And by some miracle, I got all sixes :D HOHOHO.

FIGURES! Hohoho, I made a new friend! Katrina! From the Malaysian national team, she's fourteen and she's only been doing synchro for two years and she can dance like WOAH. Hohoho she was doing her figures behind me thank goodness but she was really nice and she said hi and everything :D Kelly's jealous :D

The first figure was okay, I don't think I moved too much, but I didn't go as slow as I could've. Highest score was pretty good though.

Second figure was pretty screwed up, I'm not entirely sure why I got the score I did though. It felt correct to me, I moved veryyyy little (less than normal anyhow) and I went slow-ish.

THIRD FIGURE WAS SO FRICKIN SCREWED UP LIKE HELLOOOOOOOO ): Ohmygoodness. I remember asking Kelly which side I should face, just to confirm. And she&Katrina told me, they reassured me like SEVERAL TIMES AND I STILL FACED THE WRONG FREAKING DIRECTION ): Basically you're supposed to face the judges/wall when you turn, and cos I lift up my left leg and everyone else does right, I COPIED EVERYONE IN FRONT OF ME WITHOUT THINKING and when I turned I didn't see the red marking and I started thinking Shit did I move that far? OH CRAP I'M FACING THE WRONG DIRECTION Ohmygoodness I think I got abit flustered after that and I FAILED. Lowest score was...3.1 maybe? URGH.

And I was worried that my fourth figure would fail too, cos everytime I did a chongqi in training I fell over ): BUT OHMYGOODNESS MY HIGHEST SCORE WAS SEVENNNNN :D Which means it must've been reasonably high and the spin down was straight :D Oh man I wish someone'd videoed it haha. Went back late after waiting for Keziah to finish and had dinner at some funny chinese restaurant while the others had PIZZA HUT WTH.

Stayed up late watching a show on Discovery Channel about ICE STORMS :D COOL OKAY. But I kinda fell asleep halfway and had some funny dream where I jumped and my foot lashed out, hitting the table, resulting in a hollow thunking noise, me yelling, and Keziah suddenly sitting up straight. HAHAHA. And Audrey fell asleep on the couch, bringing her back was like how hard, she's so heavy PLUS she was sorta sleeptalking.


20th December (Wednesday)
NO EVENTS :D We just sat on top getting high and screaming whenever one of us was performing. And waving occasionally to whoever walked past :D Oh and doing the headpieces and gelatin and whatever. MA FANNNN. Hahah okay and we had a dinner after that! At the Copthorne Orchid :D Ohmygoodness before that we were talking about where the Copthorne in Singapore was and I said there was one next to RTC.

Michelle: Really?
Melissa: Yeah, the Copthorne Orchid.
Ohhhhh [Silence]
Michelle. It's not an orchid you know.
[Keziah laughs like crazy]

Haha I retold Joy, Kelly, Cel etc in the bus on the way there and Michelle overheard and went, "HUH, YOU MEAN IT'S NOT AN ORCHID?" HAHAHHAHA ohmygoodness. It was something like that anyway. So lousy can. ANYHOW. The dinner! Speeches and everything were boring like hell, so everyone was still asleep when they started giving out awards.

My goodness when we were done we were all like looking around thinking, wait, who won a prize? Haha it took us like three minutes to figure out that Celeste and Min won third for duet :D Haha that one was really unexpected. Katrina and her partner won gold, not surprising (:

And then we start looking around and wondering what on earth we won for. HAHAHA. And then the Malaysian team DANCED! Wth lah they were so freaking good like one person can just start with a move and everyone else will just pick up, totally synchronized.

We sat at the back with Irene! Hurhurhur she's very funny :D She'll just randomly shout "I SAW STARBUCKS!" or "I SAW MCDONALD'S!" or something funny haha. We crashed their room after that :D Hurhur but four of them already left! Katrina, Zylane, Zyanne and Jillian. (Hahah I think Zylane and Zyanne are such cool names, I like names starting with Z) Talked lots with Mandy and Irene though :D Then Joy&Kelly crashed OUR room to watch tv and eat instant noodles :D Lousy Michelle fell asleep at like 12 lah, where's the celebratory spirit? HAHA. Cheryl came to fetch Joy&Kelly at around 2.30, sorta in the same way we go fetch BABY AUDREY :D Hohoho. Packed abit, but we still had ALOT of stuff left on the floor. Slept at...three?

21st December (Thursday)
Audrey woke us up screaming "IT'S 8.35! WAKE UP IT'S 8.35!" It didn't exactly sink in for a few seconds that check out was at 8.45 /: Shiettttttt. Haha so we rushed like crazy and we left ALOT of food in the room ): Hahaha oh well. The joys of bringing a huge suitcase; I didn't need to fold a single thing, I just tossed everything inside :D Like literally.

Finally went out! Longgggg bus ride to Penang Hill where we had to take like two frickin slow trains up /: Each ride too like fifteen minutes? Pfft. But we took lotsa pictures going up :D Yay :D Haha.

Then lunch at Tanjong Club then JUSCO :D Hohoho such a cool, overpriced shopping centre, we had fun window shopping though. Haha and I kinda spent a fair bit at Sasa since it was cheaper there than in Singapore :D We sorta ran around retardedly towards the end, LIKE THE AMAZING RACE :D Haha and ohmy when Aunty Esther was briefing us when we got there someone suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and it was KATRINA :D With the KL team, even though they were supposed to leave like the night before. They decided to stay one more night and they were supposed to leave at two but they got caught up with buying stuff and they were still there at four /: Haha sounds kinda like us :D

Flight back was good, we got back at around 10.45 and we spent quite a long time by the carousel doing nothing. HAHA and we picked up some guy's bag thinking it was ours and we threw it back when we found out it wasnt (Okay it doesn't seem that funny but it was when it happened alright. Don't question post-competition retardation).

And all the parents were waiting outside! Haha I saw Keziah's sister! She doesn't look as much like Keziah as I thought! Haha. And DLS was there! Taking pictures and everything. HOHOHO and while we were taking a group picture Matt suddenly shouted, "Smile at the camera Audrey!" And everyone went "Oooooooooooh" :D Oh this's just a love story waiting to unfold :D We've been saying that the whole trip and I've known it since nationals this year :D I SHALL DOCUMENT IT :D

Ohmy everything's over and I feel so free now (: I CAN GO OUT! Hmmm maybe I'll go for training tonight, just to warm down and play and whatever :D Hokay that was a long post :D

Walaooooo I thought we were playing waterpolo or something but nooooo ): 2K warmdown swim doing crazy stuff, singing etc. We cheated CJL of about half the distance though :D And only Keziah, Joy&I showed up, Michelle left early. Wth.
